Elements and Performance Criteria

  1. Prepare materials

  11. Prepare materials using appropriate tools and techniques
  12. Assemble/align materials to meet specifications
  13. Identify distortion prevention measures and take appropriate action
  14. Undertake test run and verify
  15. Braze and/or silver solder
  16. Apply consumables using appropriate techniques
  17. Apply jointing material in appropriate quantities
  18. Anneal material where required
  19. Inspect joints and report/record inspection results according to SOPs
